Difficulty in walking is the most glaring form of impairment among multiple sclerosis (MS) patients. This walking difficulty can be managed by a 3 wheel mobility scooter.
A study by Souza et al. showed that multiple sclerosis patients experience walking problems due to muscle spasticity or weakness, loss of balance and fatigue within 10 to 15 years of the disease onset.
